Simone is the best wedding celebrant and consultant that we could have asked for. She is awesome, very fast and efficient in communication, very knowledgeable, super friendly, and easy to work with. When we decided to get married, we had no idea what to do next. After being referred to her by our wedding planner, Simone immediately connected with us, and we met up. During our first meeting, she gave us all the information we needed for our civil wedding and told us about all steps for official marriage registration. We also did not know how our marriage ceremony would look like with so many guests present at our special moment. We thank Simone for making the process very simple and worry-free for us. For our wedding ceremony, she did all the work in the background without us worrying about anything. She gathered information about us, our close friends, and family members (after asking us for our permission). On January 25, we, T.Bal and M.Smeets entered into a registered partnership.
We were still wondering who would perform this ceremony for us.
We looked for the most suitable BABS and after some research we ended up with Mrs. Simone Schenkelaars.
Simone paid us a home visit beforehand and it soon became apparent that there was a click between us.
While enjoying a cup of tea, Simone answered the necessary questions and recorded all this in a cozy atmosphere.
On the above date we arrived with our family at the town hall in Roosendaal, Simone was already waiting for us with a big smile.
She gave a clear and spontaneous speech, which put us all at ease.
The necessary humor was not skipped, the interaction was informal and Simone was very "to the point" . Simone was also well received by our relatives.

Last year we decided to go for a registered partnership. For this we were allowed to choose a Babs. Simone seemed like a sweet, spontaneous and enthusiastic woman who would be perfect for this day. A few weeks before the ceremony we made an appointment for an introductory meeting. Everything immediately felt right, we told our story and had already come up with something for the ceremony. We were a bit unsure about this, but Simone was able to reassure us, because it was our party! We were allowed to prepare a ceremony for the first time and Simone discussed a number of options that we had not yet thought of. Fortunately, we were allowed to think about this and share it with her later.
Once our special day had arrived, it was so nice to know who would be waiting for us. We were given enough time to prepare everything and Simone made sure everyone felt comfortable. We thought it was quite exciting, but Simone welcomed everyone and made the ceremony a beautiful whole. It was very nice, there was laughter and tears were shed. There is nothing we wished we could have done differently on this day, other than a nice picture of us together.
Dear Simone, thank you so much for your love and attention. We look back on this special day in our lives with warm and beautiful feelings.

Simone married my dear sister and brother-in-law. During the preparation, she asked them who could tell something nice about them. Very curious, open minded and with humor she has collected very nice information. Quite a task, because we are all naturally down-to-earth people. But because of her strength to keep asking questions, she collected enough nice anecdotes. She was really involved in the preparation of the bachelorette party and also mentioned the fun moments in the ceremony. Every bridal couple deserves this attention and Simone can give it.

From the beginning we had a good contact with Simone. We met her via video calling (corona period). It was a pleasant and light-hearted conversation, exactly what we wanted. Simone was wonderful! We found her last minute due to our poor last minute planning, but she was still able to get to know us and understand our story. And then tell it to all of our guests, while making everyone laugh. The speech she gave was really detailed and showed an understanding of us as a couple. There was a good mix of seriousness and fun in the ceremony, and this is exactly what we wanted for our day. Our guests were also really impressed and they really enjoyed the ceremony and spending time with Simone during the reception. We're very glad we found her. She was the perfect celebrant!
